He was born on Dec. 8, 1927, on a farm eight miles southwest of Stockton, the third child of Euphie Mae (Clark) Bell and Joe Bell. Lina Lou (Carroll) Allen, 89, Butler, passed away on April 7, 2017, in Medical Lodge in Butler. Services were held on Tuesday, April 11, in Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home. Burial followed in the El Dorado Springs City Cemetery under the direction of Bland-Hackleman Funeral Home.

Ruby A. (Shaw) Janes passed away Monday, April 10, 2017, at her home. Larry Dean Brown, a.k.a. Bub, 65, passed away with his family at his side at K.U. Medical Center in Kansas City April 1, 2017. Larry was born March 6, 1952. Larry lived in El Dorado Springs all his life and graduated High School in 1970. After graduation, he worked as a surveyor for a year.
