DECA MEMBERS ATTEND STATE CDC – From Sunday, March 11 – Tuesday, March 13, five DECA members from the El Dorado Springs DECA Chapter attended the 70th Annual Missouri State Career Development Conference at Crown Center in Kansas City. There were 1,985 students in attendance from various DECA chapters from around the state of Missouri.
STUDENTS WITH AN ATTITUDE – Students Of Distinguished Attitude, (SODA) winners for the third quarter were announced at El Dorado Christian School on Monday, March 19. VFW Post 257 held their annual dinner and recognition night on Monday, March 19, to honor the winners of the Patriot’s Pen and Voice of Democracy essay contests. The first three places in each contest from the El Dorado Springs R-II School and the El Dorado Christian School were presented monery awards, medals and certificates.
The Area Leadership Contest was held at Miller on March 19. The El Dorado Springs FFA Chapter took twelve students. The twelve students consisted of the chapter creed speaker, the division one speaker, the knowledge team, the parliamentary procedure team, and the Chapter secretary. All of the Leadership teams will be moving on to districts.
