News from Harwood and Schell City

Madalyn’s Kitchen, south of Schell City, will start closing at 10 a.m. on Saturdays and she will be closed on Sundays until further notice because the Health Department will not let her have the buffet for health reasons. She will still be closed on Wednesdays. She will have me put it in my news when she opens back up fulltime. She will be closed Monday, May 25 for Memorial Day.

Bob and Cheryl Ellerman, of Edwards, visited in the home of Jewell and Helen Ellerman Friday afternoon, May 8.

Joey, Aimee, Hunter and Ivy Coy of Calhoun spent Mother’s Day weekend in the home of Joey’s parents, Jerry and Karen Coy.

I had not been able to find out if the Harwood Baptist Church is open yet or not. They have been closed for several weeks because of the coronavirus breakout.

The Harwood Post Office is open Monday thru Saturday from 1:15 to 3:15 p.m. so people can get their mail, by stamps and mail packages. The lobby is open 24 hours a day so people can get their mail out of their box.

There is still not very much news because of the coronavirus breakout.
