Morning message at the Rockville United Methodist Church by Pastor Larry Sorrells was “Don’t Sweat the Small Stuff” from Romans 14:1-12. You are always welcome to join use for worship Sunday at 9 a.m.

Mt. Zion Home Bible met Tuesday in the home of Tom and Beverly Pelkey with 13 present. Every one is welcome to come join us.

Mt. Zion had several inches of rain Saturday and Sunday, stopping the corn harvest, ensuring that the grass will keep growing and keeping lawn mowers busy. The soybean will be nest to be harvested.

Mt. Zion Club will meet Oct. 16, in Clinton.

Tri-Country Quilt Club will met Oct. 7, in the Rockville United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall at 7 p.m. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Dixie Peterson is still a patient in the Ellett Memorial Hospital in Appleton city. She is improving and would appreciate the visits, cards and prayer. Howard visits each say the lunch together.

Wanda Rector enjoyed visiting daughter, Debbie, and family to celebrate her birthday recently in Springfield,.

Donna Harris’s daughter, Kathy, from Blue Springs, visited over the weekend.

Beverly Pelkey has been busy entertaining the crud. Wish her a speedy recovery. Tom has been doing the usual mowing grass.

Rockville Hand Quilters were happy to have Florene French  at quilting Thursday. We did finish a quilt. The Rockville United Methodist Church Quilt Show is Oct. 19, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Looking forward to seeing you and your quilts. More information, call Margie 598-2113 or Margeat 598-4240

Over at the Robin Siegismund Farm, Robin is in shock. Belle did what she was told without arguing or wanting to do it her way. The January snow storm chickens have started laying eggs. According to the calendar, it is fall, only three months of this year left.

Greg Pelkey was an overnight visitor with Tom and Beverly Pelkey.

John and Julia Snethen went to doctor in Bolivar this last week.
