Mt. Zion Aaea has been hot this past week. School has started, the school bus is right on schedule. Bus drivers are very important part of school children’s lives. Thank a School Bus Driver.
Take time to take a drive down our country roads, you will see lots of beautiful goldenrods, yellow flowers that look a lot like sunflowers, They are so pretty and bright. Glad the road side has been mowed. Birds are starting to gather to migrate, the Swallows are already gone, the Hummingbirds are still here for awhile.
Mt. Zion Club met Wednesday at Rockville United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, Rockville for regular meeting. Ten women enjoyed the day quilting and visiting at noon a delicious meal was enjoyed, after thanks was given by Wilma Williams.
We Celebrated Roberta Dine’s 95th birthday with a song and a card. Next meeting will be with Doris Murphy, Sept. 22, all day.
Over at the Robin Siegismund Farm,,Belle and Robin have had a good week. Belle is glad those big bulls are gone, hoping they never return. Robin is making more little people blankets.
Julia Snethen kept her usual Friday appointments before meeting her new heart doctor which she liked, still waiting for an eye appointment. Was she ever surprised to get flowers from Chewy Dog food Co. when her dog passed.
Dixie Peterson still doing therapy at Truman Lake Manor, Howard visits several times a week.
Wanda Rector has recovered after a few days rest and on the road again.
Tom and Beverly Pelkey are doing the same. Beverly did Celebrate her Birthday recently. Tom fixed dinner for her, lot of birthday wishes on facebook which she enjoyed.
Karen Dotson and children visited Stacy and Mike Griffith and Marge Zink recently.
