MISS MERRY CHRISTMAS CROWNED – Bailey Tyler, a Junior at the El Dorado Springs High School, was crowned the 63rd Miss Merry Christmas during the annual Christmas Lighting in the Park on Monday, Nov 21. She was crowned by the 2015 Miss Merry Christmas, Abigail Bateson. Bailey is the daughter of Chuck and Dawn Tyler. Her interests include reading, deer hunting and spending time with friends and family. She is involved win SAD, FCCLA, Library and Foreign Language Clubs. She plans to attend college and major in Secondary Education with a minor in foreign language. Her escort was Branden Hayes, the son of Jeremy and Renea Hayes.

First runner-up was Cambria Witt, a Senior at the El Dorado Spring Christian School and the daughter of Kathy and Barry Witt. Her interests include playing guitar, singing with her sisters, cooking and baking, NHS, volleyball and Class President. Cambria’s future plans are to pursue a degree in Culinary Arts. She is escorted by Redeemer Heath, the son of Avelina Heath.

Miss Merry Christmas and the other candidates, Emma Meyer, Cambria Witt, Alyssa Hammons, Tenera Turner and Madison Hacker, will ride in the 2016 El Dorado Spring Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade on Dec. 3.
