Ronald Dee Pettibon, 77, El Dorado Springs, was called home to his Lord and Savior at his home on Sunday, Dec. 14, 2025. Ron was born May 14, 1948 to Wendel and Ethel Pettibon in Nevada. During his childhood years Ron attended Nash School up until the 7th grade where he then attended Deerfield School and then settled in El Dorado Springs to end his grade schooling.

Ron married Rhonda (Spencer) Pettibon on Oct. 1, 1993, where they shared 34 years of God’s faith and love. With Ron’s most memorable quote to Rhonda being “I can fix anything from a car to a broken heart.” This one line created a life of love for each other and their family.

Ron was a great and honorable man of many talents. From wood working to restoring vintage trucks, he could truly do it all. Even from a young age, Ron loved fast cars and the idea of restoring vehicles. He saw value where others may not, especially when restoring his two 56 Ford F-150s, his 59 Ford F-150 and his 79 Ford F-250. With these restorations Ron joined the 54 Cruisers Car Club where he made many friends and spent countless days with Rhonda. Ron was also a man who loved his family. He spend many days and weekends with his family passing on the passions he enjoyed. From fishing, gardening, NASCAR and Wheel of Fortune, to his faith in his Lord and Savior.

With his calling home, Ron leaves behind his loving wife, Rhonda. Ronal also leaves behind fine children: Denise, Jeremy (Nicole) Pettibon, Rhonda (Joe) Burns, Ron (Rachel) Pettibon and Lecia (Donnie) Bugg; 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 10, with Pastor Joe Trussell officiating at the Church of God Holiness. Family visitation will start at 10 a.m.
