In the case of all arrests, it must be remembered that the charge is merely an accusation and all defendants are presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.

Dec 7 – Arrest: Robin Lawson, 43, of El Dorado Springs, for a Bolivar Municipal warrant, charging her with driving while intoxicated and driving while revoked, with a $100.cash bond. She was released on bond pending court appearance.

Dec 8 – Officers responded to 102 North Summer Street concerning a reported domestic disturbance. The investigation resulted in the arrest of Jesse M Hill, 35, of El Dorado Springs, charging him with assault. He was released on summons pending a court appearance.

Dec 8 – Arrest: John Cox, 36, of El Dorado Springs, for a Bates County warrant, charging him with unlawful possession of a firearm, with a $15,000 bond, an active Cedar County warrant, charging him with failure to appear on the original charge ofpossession of a controlled substance, with no bond, and an El Dorado Springs Municipal warrant, charging him with failure to appear on the original charge of trespassing, with a $729.50 bond. He was transferred to the Cedar County jail pending court appearances.

Dec 8 – Officers responded to 800 North Main concerning a reported domestic assault. A suspect was identified, a report taken and the investigation continues.

Dec 9 – Officers responded to 1102 South Jackson concerning a reported motor vehicle theft. The investigation revealed that a red 2001 Suzuki GSF 1200 motorcycle was stolen from inside a garage. A report taken and the investigation continues.

Dec 10 – Officers responded to 607 North Main concerning a reported larceny of a white homemade pickup bed trailer. A report was taken and the investigation continues.
