Law enforcement activities

The El Dorado Springs Police Department responded to 86 requests for assistance this past week, April. 20 -26. The requests were as follows:

Ambulance 15, Animal Control 14, Assist Other Agencies 17, All Escorts 0, Nuisance 0, All Other Requests for Assistance 50, Summons 7.

Found Property is available for viewing, Monday through Saturday, by appointment only. A detailed description of the property you’re wishing to view must be specified when making the appointment. Found Property is subject to disposal after 90 days based on value of the property if unclaimed by owner.

Police Report

On April 22, 2020, officers responded 200 McCrary Circle concerning a theft from motor vehicle. The investigation revealed the theft of US Currency and a Debit Card from a parked vehicle. A report taken and the investigation continues.

On April 23, 2020, officers arrested Shelby M Wilson, 22, of El Dorado Springs, for a Vernon County Warrant, charging her with Felony Possession of Stolen Property with a $15,000.00 cash bond. She was transferred to the Vernon County Jail pending bond and a court appearance.

On April 23, 2020, officers responded to 610 South Main concerning a reported domestic assault.  A report taken and the investigation continues.

On April 25, 2020, officers arrested Emilee Westerfield for the probable cause of Driving While Intoxicated, Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Paraphernalia, and Careless and Reckless Driving. She was released on summonses pending a court appearance.
