Upon signing up for the service, citizens will be able to get alerts on road closings, weather alerts directly from the National Weather Service, ongoing crime situations, and other emergency notifications. This will allow you to have immediate notifications in the event of a wanted person, a dangerous weather situation, and/or general event notifications

Arrests and Reports

Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made arrests and took multiple reports during the week of April 8th through April 14th, 2025.

April 8th – Warrant Arrest (Failure to Appear)   – On April 8th, a St. Clair County Deputy arrested Alexander Trexel at the Moberly Department of Corrections, on a St. Clair County Warrant. The St. Clair County Warrant had a charge of Failure to Appear with original charges of Unlawful Possession of a Firearm, Possession of Controlled Substance, Unlawful Use of Weapon – Subsection 11 – Possess Weapon and a Felony Controlled Substance, and Unlawful Possession of Drug Paraphernalia – Prior Drug Offense. Alexander was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and no bond was issued.

April 8th – Warrant Arrest (DWI)   – On April 8th, a St. Clair County Deputy arrested Christopher Plotner at the Laclede County Jail, on a St. Clair County Warrant with a charge of DWI – Persistent. Christopher was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and the bond was set at $10,000 cash or surety.

April 8th – Felony Arrest (Failure to Register)   – On April 8th, St. Clair County Deputies responded to SE Highway PP in rural Collins, in reference to a subject failing to register as a sex offender. Upon making contact with the male suspect, it was found that he had been living in St. Clair County for over a week, while failing to register at the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office as a Sex Offender. Danny White was arrested for Fail to Register as a Sex Offender Pursuant to 589.400-425. Danny was transported to the St. Clair County Jail to be booked and released, pending formal charges.

April 10th – Felony Arrest (Failure to Register)   – On April 10th, St. Clair County Deputies responded to the St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office, in reference to a subject failing to register as a sex offender. Upon making contact with the male suspect, it was found that he had failed to update his registration within St. Clair County. Randall Mitchell was arrested for Fail to Register as a Sex Offender Pursuant to 589.400-425. Randall was transported to the St. Clair County Jail to be booked and released, pending formal charges.

April 10th – Misdemeanor Arrest (Driving While Intoxicated)   – On April 10th, a St. Clair County Deputy performed a traffic stop on SE Old 13 Highway, in reference to expired registration. After making contact with the driver it was determined that the driver was intoxicated and did not have a valid Missouri Driver’s License.  Brian Richards was arrested for Driving While Intoxicated and Operate Vehicle on Highway Without a Valid License – 1st Offense. Brian was transported to the St. Clair County Jail to be booked and released, pending formal charges.

April 10th – Felony Arrest (Domestic Assault)   – On April 10th, St. Clair County Deputies responded to SE Highway U in rural Osceola, in reference to a domestic disturbance. Upon making contact with the residents of the property, it was confirmed that a domestic assault had occurred. During the investigation, it was determined that Kammy Townsend was the primary aggressor, and was arrested for Domestic Assault – 2nd Degree, and Kidnapping – 2nd Degree. Kammy was transported to the St. Clair County Jail to be booked and released, pending formal charges.

Sheriff Lee Hilty reported deputies made arrests and took multiple reports during the week of April 15th through April 21st, 2025.

April 15th – Warrant Arrest (Failure to Appear)   – On April 15th, a St. Clair County Deputy arrested Jordan Cauthan at the St. Clair County Courthouse, on a Bolivar Police Department Warrant. The warrant was for a Failure to Appear, with original charges of City Ordinance – Failure to Stop for a School Bus. Jordan was transported to the St. Clair County Jail and the bond was set at $50.00 signature.

April 15th – Abandoned Vehicle  – On April 15th, a St. Clair County Deputy responded to NE 471 Road, in reference to an abandoned All-Terrain Vehicle(ATV). Upon arrival, the deputy observed the ATV parked in the waterway, and was described as a green 1990 Yamaha Big Bear 350 with a purple PVC pipe and hanging hose. The deputy confirmed with St. Clair County Communications that the vehicle was not stolen, and had it towed via Bray’s Towing.

April 19th – Property Damage in Lowry City  – On April 19th, a St. Clair County Deputy responded to South Main Street in Lowry City, in reference to a downed stop sign. Upon arrival, the deputy observed that a stop sign at the intersection of 7th Street and Main Street had been knocked over, with evidence of a vehicle striking it. During the investigation, it was determined that Dakota Bradt had struck the stop sign with his vehicle, and was then issued a citation for Failure to Drive on the Right Half of the Roadway.
