The Stockton Lake Wild-Life challenge begins at 7 a.m. Sunday, Aug. 4. The Sprint course is a 500 meter swim, 10.4 mile bike and a 5K run. The Olympic Course is a 1,000 meter swim, 20.8 mile bike and 10 K run. All courses are on U.S. Army Corps of Engineers property at Stockton Lake.

The 138th annual El Dorado Springs picnic will begin 6:00pm on Main St. on Wednesday, July 17, 2019.  Trailers will be set first with tents or tables coming in after.  Picnic Committee members will be directing set up.  Any local vendor may open on Wednesday night when their booths ready to serve.  At 8pm Recoil
