The regular monthly meeting of the Cedar County High Hopes Cancer Support Group will be held on the second Wednesday of September as usual. Since most of our 1959 graduating class have had or will have a 75th birthday this year, we will have a birthday party on Saturday, Sept. 17, at the El Dorado Mexican Restaurant in downtown El Dorado Springs. Those who want to have a meal will meet at 12 p.m. for a dutch treat meal.

TOPS Chapter 319 El Dorado Springs (Take Off pounds Sensibly) met in the Church Of Christ meeting room on Thursday, Sept. 1. Our leader, Robbie, opened the meeting.
