Dept. of Natural Resources announces 2022 Earth Day slogan contest winner

The Missouri Department of Natural Resources announced the winner of the department’s 2022 Earth Day slogan contest. Mahamud Mahamud, a fifth grade student from Kansas City International Academy, won first place with the slogan, “May the forest be with you.” Mahamud was among more than 700 Missouri fifth graders who entered the annual slogan contest.

ANOTHER WIN FOR THE HOME TEAM

Matthew and Bruce Rogers won the CrappieMasters two day tournament at the Grenada, MS in March. The team smashed the record by breaking the two day weight. The old record was 42.69 lbs and the new 44.71 lbs brought in by Matthew and Bruce. Next tournament is in Illinois in May.
