El Dorado Christian grade school hosted their 2nd Annual Living Wax Museum, on Wednesday, April 12, from 3 to 5 p.m. Students in Mrs. Caldwell’s 3rd through 6th grade history classes, were given the opportunity to research, and write/create a biography of a historical figure. STATE FFA DEGREE – Wyatt Graves, El Dorado Springs FFA, received his State FFA Degree during the state convention in Columbia April 20-21. The El Dorado Springs FFA Chapter had lots of success at Districts this year. We took 41 kids to competition (40% of our chapter. Great participation.) and they competed against 77 schools from the Southwest District. We had three teams qualify to represent us at State Competition in two weeks. Ag Sales: 2nd Place Team

Missouri 4-H members are digging deep into learning about healthy soils. Missouri 4-H’ers are joining 4-H’ers across the nation in the 4-H Ag Innovators Experience, sponsored by the National 4-H Council and Monsanto. NEVC COMPETES IN BUSINESS CONTEST – Four Northeast Vernon County R-1 students traveled to Neosho to participate in the Crowder Businesses Contest.
