The Opera House Theater, in downtown El Dorado Springs, is looking for donations to upgrade the server for their projector. Fire report for week of July 23

On Monday, July 24, at 4:26 p.m. the fire department was dispatched to a trash fire on County Rd. 150 east of town. Five trucks and 19 firefighters responded. While this was going on, the chief and an assistant chief assisted law enforcement at a minor traffic accident west of town on US 54 Hwy.

Challenge Issued

Sac Osage starts day with power outages

According to General Manager Aaron Ash at Sac Osage Electric, the storm on Sunday night/Monday morning left 2,500 people in their whole territory without power. As of Monday afternoon, there were 497 still affected. According to City Manager Bruce Rogers, there were no power outages within the City of El Dorado Springs.
