Driver dies in wreck on Hwy. J

Clayton M. Hibbard, 57, Stockton, was pronounced dead at the scene where his northbound 2007 Kennwort T800 Truck ran off Hwy. J, stuck a fence, utility pole and several trees then caught on fire 1.7 miles north o Stockton a 7:44 a.m. on Nov. 3. MSGT Long worked the wreck.

Green sentenced to 20 years

The Office of the Cedar County Prosecuting Attorney announces the guilty plea of Charles Shane Green for the Oct. 23, 2017, shooting death of Brandon Keith.  The defendant was sentenced to 20 years in the Missouri Department of Corrections for the charge of murder in the 2nd degree.
