Firemen extinguish chimney fire

On Friday afternoon at 16:06 hours the El Dorado Springs Voluneer Fire Department was dispatched to 1804 S. Elm for a reported chimney fire.  The fire was contained  within the chimney.  The firefighters removed the fire from the fire placed and extinguished the fire the chimney.  13 firefighters responded.  The house suffered minor smoke damage.

EL DORADO SPRINGS LIONS GO SHOPPING – On Dec.14, the El Dorado Springs Lions, through their annual Shop-With-A-Lion project, were able to help nearly 25 area children have a more enjoyable Christmas. Deputies chase vehicle until tire falls off, suspect in custody

A Missouri resident is in custody following a pursuit Wednesday when a deputy attempted to make a traffic stop in Nevada. According to officials with the Sheriff’s Office, the suspect, who has been identified as 29 year-old Kaleb J Wilson, failed to stop for a deputy who was working a traffic related detail for MoDot.
