On Wednesday, April 29, at 6:11 p.m. the Fire Department was dispatched to a semi tractor truck fire on H Hwy. in St. Clair County. Trucks 2 and 4 and tankers 1 and 2 responded. Nineteen firefighters fought the fire.

CCMH resumes surgeries

Effective May 4 2020, Cedar County Memorial Hospital will begin resuming some elective surgeries on a case by case basis. Each surgical case will be evaluated based on urgent need, comorbidities and the chance of needing to stay in the hospital versus going home.
