The Coale, Burrus, James, Conner annual family reunion was held Sunday, Sept. 25, at the El Dorado Springs Community Center. As the families gathered, an abundance of food was spread on the tables. The crowd was a little smaller than usual, but all those in attendance seemed to enjoy both the food and the visiting.

On Monday, Sept. 26, at 12:41 p.m. the fire department was dispatched to a structure fire at the Christian School Daycare building. Three trucks and 18 firefighters responded. On Tuesday, Sept. 20, at 10:12 a.m. the fire department was dispatched to a clinic on Hospital for a activation of a smoke alarm. The department was cancelled enroute.
