There she is…our dear Mrs. King, the sweet lady, third from the left.  You can tell by her smile that she is “a keeper”, a friendly, caring, amazing woman that lights up a room when she enters.  Her smile is infectious…just like her love for Jesus, her family and El Dorado Christian School & students. 

VFW Post 257, the oldest charted post in the state of Missouri, held their annual scholarship banquet on Tuesday, April 13, and recognized the winners of the Patriots Pen and Voice of Democracy essay competitions. The VFW takes entries from the El Dorado Springs Public School, the El Dorado Christian School and the Roscoe School.

Northeast Vernon County’s Charity Middleton has been named the 2021 – 2022 FCCLA State VP of Community Service. She is a sophomore. Her parents are Dallas and Heather Brown and Steve Middleton. This is the first time NEVC has had a State Officer.

El Dorado Springs School Board member Benny Brower retired at the March 11, 2021, meeting of the School Board. Brower, who has served the school district for 24 years, is known for his wisdom and guidance. Current school board president Josh Floyd handed Brower his commemorative plaque.
