FFA CHAPTER AND GREENHAND CEREMONY – On Oct. 5, we held our Chapter and Greenhand Degree Ceremony. There were 55 Greenhand Recipients and 25 Chapter Recipients. To earn these degrees, members have to work hard in the classroom, in the FFA, and in their Supervised Agriculture Experience (SAE). We informed the parents on upcoming events

BAND COMPETITIVE MARCHING SEASON ENDS – This Saturday wrapped up the Band’s Competitive Marching Season! We marched in the 50th Annual Maple Leaf Festival and in the 51st Maple Leaf Field Competition held in Carthage! The parade was over 2 and half hours long, with the Bulldog Band marching for an hour and fifteen minutes!

KINDERGARTEN SPIRIT WEEK – The El Dorado Springs Kindergarten classes really enjoyed celebrating Spirit Week this week. They were very excited to cheer the Football Bulldogs to victory. The attached photo is from “Red and Black” Day.
El Dorado Christian School celebrated Grandparent’s Day on Tuesday, Sept. 13. The gym was packed with over 225 grandparents in attendance. Preschool K3 through sixth grade performed a short program of poems, songs and memorized Bible passages. Mrs. Eslinger’s Junior High class wrote heartfelt memories about their grandparents. Students, along with their families, enjoyed donuts
BUCKLE BUDDY VISITS ROSCOE SCHOOL – On Sept. 19 Buckle Buddy made visits to students at Roscoe, Osceola, Appleton City and Lakeland Schools in conjunction with Child Passenger Safety Week. St. Clair County Sheriff’s Office Detective Jarrod Sherrer and School Resource Office Brad Saddoris escorted Buckle Buddy to the area schools to teach about seat
NEVC FFA ENJOYS PAINT-BALLING – FFA and Jr. FFA Members worked on team-building skills and communication while paint-balling in Joplin.
