On Sunday, Nov. 12, at 5:48 p.m. the fire department was dispatched to a one vehicle rollover accident on Hwy. 32 one mile east of Hwy. 97. Three trucks and 16 firefighters responded. Later that night at 11:05 p.m. the department was dispatched to a structure fire on E. Fields. two pumpers and 11 firefighters

Board member Katie McGee attempted to verbally spar with board member Harold Fugate over the use of time to discuss various aspects of the meeting. McGee was late getting to meeting and said she didn’t want to be there. She said she was done with bickering and fighting. The meeting which was on Wed. Nov.

CELEBRATING WITH FAMILY, FRIENDS AND FORMER STUDENTS – Luella Phipps celebrated her 97 birthday at the Church of God Holiness Fellowship Hall on Saturday, Nov. 18. The reception/ luncheon was accompanied by lots stories, reminiscing and comradery. Everyone there was grateful to Miss Phipps for being part of their lives.
