Female body found in rural Cedar County

An investigation conducted by the Cedar County Sheriff’s Office, has resulted in the discovery of a human body, in rural Cedar County, between El Doado Springs and Stockton. Fire report for week of Feb. 5

On Saturday, Feb. 4, at 9:30 p.m. the fire department was dispatched to a small grass fire in a ditch on Lake Hill Rd. One truck and two firefighters responded. On Sunday, Feb. 5, at 6:17 p.m. the department was dispatched to several locations for natural cover fire in rural St. Clair and Cedar Counties.

A first for El Dorado Springs City Council (prayer)

A minute and a half before the Feb. 6, 2023, City Council meeting, council member Gabby Kinnett said that a group of ladies had approached her and asked why there wasn’t a prayer before council meeting.
