NEW UTILITY DIRECTOR – Joe Robison started working for the City of El Dorado Springs on July 7, 2003, with the Building and Grounds Department. In 2012 he became part of the Utilities Department working at the Park and the golf course in building maintenance. The Utility Department works on power lines, water and sewer

The El Dorado Springs Fire Department has planned a benefit auction for the Caplinger Mills Fire Department at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 6, at the old Shopko building on 32 Hwy. As per Governor Parson’s press conference on April 27, the Stay At Home order will be lifted on May 3 at 11:59 PM. A new Order has been issued, effective at 12:01 AM, May 4 for the reopening of business and activities. This order will remain in effect until 11:59 PM May 31 , 2020
The Opera House Theater is selling large bags of popcorn for $5 from 4:30 – 6:30 on Friday and Saturday, May 8 and 9. Popcorn sales are a fundraiser for the theater to help with ongoing expenses like utilities. And the popcorn is really good.
