Tuesday, June 24 saw the dedication of the new playground and equipment at Northeast Vernon County Elementary School at Schell City. At a special board meeting on Monday, April 21, Northeast Vernon County R-1 School District re-elected board members David Bruce and Connie Gerster received their oath of office from district Superintendent Christy Jones.
