The 2023 El Dorado Springs Christmas Parade on Saturday, Dec 9, was well attended along the whole parade route. The theme “Christmas on the Silver Screen” was a challenge for younger people to carry out, the Silver Screen part being somewhat of a mystery. According to Katherine Miles, Katie’s House CEO, Katie’s House will give away 200 boxes of groceries on a first come, first serve basis starting Dec 19 from 4 – 6 p.m. When it’s gone its gone. This will be a monthly event. Dates and delivery will vary. The boxes will include meat, dairy, and produce.

About a month ago, the City gave raises to all their employees retirement plan and  as part of the yearly budget process.
