Rock Wall

I hope everybody has a happy and safe 4th of July. I probably won’t do anything all day I was throwing stuff away Saturday and came across some old papers in a satchel. At the bottom was a little book bound in leather. On the front was the word Diary. On the inside front cover

I truly hope that Mother nature gets some kind of satisfaction from all this heat and by the time the Picnic arrives, she will have moved on to something else.   John Beydler has a new book, “Picked Clean”. Check it out. The ad is on page 10. It is available through Amazon and

I was concerned that we hadn’t had any news releases about cicadas from conservation. By way they were talked about on TV, I thought the trees, yards and houses would be covered. I want to wish all mothers out there a very Happy Mother’s Day. My mother spent her last years here in El Dorado Springs at Community Springs. I bet that anyone who remembers her would have never thought that when she was a young woman, she worked for a man who had rental property and

I understand the Sac Fest went well, sandwiched between storms. I don’t know how many people decided to have a garage sale on Saturday, but Fugate’s Hot Rod Day, also sandwiched between storms was fine.   Someone asked me if it stormed really bad at my house. I replied that a really bad storm is

Supposedly, Sunday night was the last night anyone would have to worry about bringing in their potted plants. I brought in mine, but some of mine should have been in the ground a long time ago. I was half-way back to my car from the coronation at the Prom when I realized that the Queen
