Rock Wall

I hope you and yours had a wonder filled Christmas and New Year’s. We did. The family time was even better than the weather. Even got a note from Adrian Monday thanking us for the good time for her, Cain, Van and Snider. Everybody got home safely from Christmas and New Year’s celebrations. I told

Is there a name, like Indian Fall, for the unseasonably mild weather we have been enjoying?  Cain and Adrian played the weather perfectly. They drove up here from Baton Rouge in stages: to his hometown of Lake Providence, LA, one day, then on to Branson the next day, then to Springfield, then to our house.

I believe in internal clocks. I’m having trouble resetting mine to have my chat with you on the Rock Wall on Monday after doing it on Tuesday for nearly 40 years. Now this week, the boss says I have to do it on Friday night and again next week. That is just weird. Some of

The sign Kimball hangs on our front door each year is up: Dear Santa. Define good. Kimball has been decorating like crazy. We expect a house full of company for Christmas. Bobby Budd asked me if I ordered the weather change.  I told him I had. No sense denying the unprovable. It does look a little suspicious that last year when they moved up the date of the Christmas parade, God moved up winter. He might do the same for this Saturday’s Christmas parade. It does

Sunday afternoon, Kimball had already told me the outcome of the Kansas City/Vikings football game but I was watching the recording after she got home from taking a photo of the Miss Merry Christmas candidates. She was not in the room when a fantastic play occurred. Later in the game, when she returned to within
